In a second standard classroom,teacher asked-what do u want to become when you grow up???....Pilot,Astronaut,Sailor,Scientist,Magician,Painter,cricketer,Athlete...came the enthusiastic replies.Do u recognize any of these children???Believe it or not,one of them is you!!
so what happened to that child who dared to dream and believed it had the guts to fulfill them????what happened to the passion that flowed in the veins whenever u desired something???where is that passionate kid who wanted to be different,wanted to change the world,wanted to do something so phenomenal!!..??why cant you find time as u did to forget everything and listen to your heartbeat??wasnt it the best music in the world???I am not asking these questions,u have asked these questions to yourself now and then but perhaps didnt dare to answer!
Forget childhood dreams,they may be childish!!we never lose the power to dream,we never stop dreaming,then why dont we stand up to fulfill our dreams or even try to do so??Many times in our life we stand on a divergence,our Heart always shows us a way full of surprises,challenges and fulfillment and the brain shows us an easy way leading to material gains.We live in the fear of faliure ,casually ignoring our heart and smartly(well..atleast we think so!!)following our brain.The result..our ambition gradually becomes just our hobby and then a talent that once was!...gone...wasted!
Different people have different explanations on why they didnt follow their heart,some say that you have to be practical in life,money matters.Unfortunately,they are right,money does matter in todays world,but could any sum of money ever match the satisfaction and joy of accomplishing something you ever dreamt of!Ask neil Armstrong what sum he would have taken in lieu of losing the chance to be the first one to step on the moon....i bet you wont be able to count!Ask Steve Irwin if any sum of money could provide him the thrill he got in jumping into a lake full of hungry crocodiles!!!!the answer would be no....because this is passion!! they dared to look beyond an ordinary life....a life that can only be sought if you follow your heart!
A few would say that they didnt get a chance to fulfill their dreams,this one has a simple answer,read the biography of any one person who made his/her dreams come true,you'll never say that again!!Life is never short of chances,all you have to do is to dare to cling on one!
Some might say that there's a lot of struggle and that too with a chance of faliure in following your heart...ask yourself...what do you want to be...a tiger in the zoo who gets all the comforts necessary and a comfortable life or a jungle tiger who may have to struggle everyday but no one can mess with his free spirit!...isnt that what we call life???
And a bunch might even say that they were forced to do so....for them i must say,though it might sound rude,if you dont have guts to stand up for your dreams you dont deserve to dream!
The choice remains,with you always,at every stage of life...of a life that everyone dreams of or a life that only you can dream of!!
